No - scale supergravity from higher dimensions 1
We discuss recent results on the interpretation of flux compactifications on certain Type IIB orientifolds in terms of gauged N –extended supergravities of no–scale type
متن کاملString no-scale supergravity
We explore the postulates of string no-scale supergravity in the context of free-fermionic string models. The requirements of vanishing vacuum energy, flat directions of the scalar potential, and stable no-scale mechanism impose strong restrictions on possible string no-scale models, which must possess only two or three moduli, and a constrained massless spectrum. The soft-supersymmetrybreaking...
متن کاملAlmost No-Scale Supergravity
We construct an explicit 5-dimensional supergravity model that realizes the ‘no scale’ mechanism for supersymmetry breaking with no unstable moduli. Supersymmetry is broken by a constant superpotential localized on a brane, and the radion is stabilized by Casimir energy from supergravity and massive hypermultiplets. If the standard model gauge and matter fields are localized on a brane, then vi...

متن کاملN = 1 No - Scale Supergravity from Iib Orientifolds
We describe the low-energy effective theory of N=1 spontaneously broken supegrav-ity obtained by flux-induced breaking in the presence of n D3 branes. This theory can be obtained by integrating out three massive gravitino multiplets in the hierarchical breaking N = 4 → 3 → 2 → 1 of a N=4 orientifold. This integration also eliminates the IIB complex dilaton. The resulting theory is a no-scale su...
